Preparation for surgery:
Before the procedure, a consultation with a plastic surgeon is required, along with the following tests:
— Complete blood count
— Urinalysis
— Blood tests for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis
— Coagulogram (APTT, INR, prothrombin time)
— Biochemical blood analysis (glucose, total protein, bilirubin—direct and total, ALT, AST, ALP, creatinine, urea, potassium, sodium)
— Blood group and Rh factor
— COVID PCR test (to be done within 3 days before surgery)
— ECG with interpretation
— Chest CT scan
— Phlebologist’s report and lower limb vein ultrasound
— Therapist’s conclusion based on examination (must be obtained at IPHKiK)
— Optional: Blood test for 25-OH vitamin D3
Additional recommended tests for tailoring rehabilitation individually based on results:
— Serum iron, ferritin, transferrin
— Vitamins: total 25-OH vitamin D (calciferol), B9, B12, B6, C, D
— Trace elements: magnesium, zinc, copper, silicon, total calcium
Important:
- Blood tests and specialist examinations are valid for no more than 10 days.
- Test results must be in Russian on official forms with stamps.
On the day of surgery, bring your passport, SNILS, and all printed original test results and reports with official stamps and doctor’s signatures.
Avoid eating or drinking 6 hours before surgery

Anesthesia: local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia.
Duration of surgery: from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours
Rehabilitation period:
First 1-2 days: possible swelling, bruising, and tightness sensation.
Days 5-7: suture removal.
Days 7-14: most signs of surgery fade.
Final result: within 1-3 months.
Postoperative recommendations:
— Avoid physical exertion for 2–3 weeks.
— Do not apply pressure or massage the treated area.
— Maintain a healthy diet and adequate hydration.
— Avoid hot showers; do not visit saunas, baths, or pools for 1 month.
— Undergo lymphatic drainage massages (as recommended by your doctor).
— Wear compression garments (for body lipofilling).

My first independent plastic surgery was an endoscopic forehead lift, which sparked my passion for this type of procedure. It’s incredibly fascinating and unique to be able, through small, barely visible incisions under endoscopic guidance, to lift and rejuvenate the tissues so that the face doesn’t change its natural expression but looks fresher. Isn’t that what every woman dreams of?
Yes, absolutely! I especially love endoscopic rejuvenation of the upper and middle face (endoscopic forehead and temporal lifting), also known as the “towel effect,” where the tissues are lifted as if you’re wrapping a towel after a shower—smoothing the forehead, temples, and midface all at once.
