Temporal Lift is a surgical procedure aimed at lifting and rejuvenating the upper third of the face. The surgery helps elevate the outer edges of the eyebrows, smooth out wrinkles in the temple and eye corner areas, and create a more open and expressive gaze.
Indications for surgery:— excess skin on the upper eyelid causing a "drooping" effect
— drooping of the outer corners of the eyebrows
— wrinkles in the temples and outer eye corners
— deformation of the upper facial contour
— asymmetry of the eyebrows and forehead
— age-related changes that cause a tired appearance
— unfavorable eye shape
Preparation for surgery:Before the procedure, a consultation with a plastic surgeon is required, along with the following tests:
— Complete blood count
— Urinalysis
— Blood tests for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis
— Coagulogram (APTT, INR, prothrombin time)
— Biochemical blood analysis (glucose, total protein, bilirubin—direct and total, ALT, AST, ALP, creatinine, urea, potassium, sodium)
— Blood group and Rh factor
— COVID PCR test (to be done within 3 days before surgery)
— ECG with interpretation
— Chest CT scan
— Phlebologist’s report and lower limb vein ultrasound
— Therapist’s conclusion based on examination (must be obtained at IPHKiK)
— Optional: Blood test for 25-OH vitamin D3
Additional recommended tests for tailoring rehabilitation individually based on results:
— Serum iron, ferritin, transferrin
— Vitamins: total 25-OH vitamin D (calciferol), B9, B12, B6, C, D
— Trace elements: magnesium, zinc, copper, silicon, total calcium
Important:- Blood tests and specialist examinations are valid for no more than 10 days.
- Test results must be in Russian on official forms with stamps.
We recommend undergoing examination at IPHKiK (appointment
phone: +7 (495) 775 01 02). Tests can also be done at any independent laboratory.
On the day of surgery, bring your passport, SNILS, and all printed original test results and reports with official stamps and doctor’s signatures.
Avoid eating or drinking
6 hours before surgeryPlease send all tests and reports via WhatsApp:

Anesthesia: General anesthesia or TIVA.
Duration of surgery: 40 minutes to 1,5 hour.
Rehabilitation period:Days 1–3: Swelling, moderate bruising, and a feeling of tightness in the temple area
Days 7–10: Removal of stitches (if non-absorbable sutures were used)
Days 10–14: Most swelling subsides; you may return to your usual routine
Final result: Achieved within 1–3 months
Postoperative recommendations:— Sleep on your back for at least 14 days to reduce swelling.
— Avoid physical activity for 14 days.
— Refrain from hot showers, and do not visit saunas, steam rooms, or pools for 1 month.
— Do not rub the temple area or use makeup for 10–14 days.
— Avoid excessive facial expressions during the first 2 weeks.
— Wear sunglasses and avoid direct sunlight.
— Use cold compresses if needed to reduce swelling.
Expected results:— lifted outer eyebrow corners
— smoothed wrinkles in the temple and eye area
— improved eye shape, resulting in a more open and expressive gaze
— refreshed and rejuvenated facial appearance
— correction of brow asymmetry
